Our Story

We began building this company in August 2021. Starting with a lease on a concrete slab in the far back corner of the Lumberyard complex and a container full of equipment Love City Ice was born. We opened our doors in late 2021. The idea behinnd the business was to provide ice and purified water to the community of st john in a sustainable fashion.

We offer ice in 10 and 20 pound bags or right into your water or drinks cooler. Stop by on the way to the beach or the jobsite and fill up.

Although the company is called Love City Ice we offer much more than just ice. Purified water is actually our biggest seller day by day and much of that is at our water refill station. Here you can bring your own containers for refill or purchace one of our refillable 3 and 5 gallon bottles. We also offer several different styles of dispensers from hand pumps to water coolers. If you prefer the convieniance of gallon bottles we stock these as well at prices below most retail stores. Our water is purifed by filtration and reverse osmosis and you can come in any time and get a tour of our water purification facility or grab a sample from the water cooler!

We sell and service water filtration and sterlization systems for your home as well. Water quality in the home here on St John can be challenging. We are happy to help to try to find the best solution to your water purification needs. With products ranging from ultraviolet sterilzation systems to water filters in all sizes. We stock replacement cartridges for most filters as well as replacement parts for most UV systems. Not sure about your water quality? Bring in a sample and we can test it for you. If we dont have what you need in stock we are glad to order it for you. Our pricing competes with most on line retailers and the product is right here on St John.
